Job Description
  • To manage existing project /program with focus on regional program/project assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination, quality /compliance assurance, database/regional results framework management and progress reporting.
  • To manage Bhutanese refugee camps for effective service delivery and sustainability.
  • To play a major role in new project development and fund raising.
  • To assist the Regional Program Coordinator (RPC) of East region in his/her activities, act as OIC  during his/her absence and carry out additional duties assigned/requested by him/her
  • To support and coordinate with the regional finance and admin officer in financial and administrative management activities.
  • To maintain close coordination with UNHCR and other partner agencies including Refugee Camp Management Committee to develop and implement various project activities.
  • To act as Focal Person for the sectors Shelter, WASH and Energy.   
Job Specification
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Nepali required, including report development, writing and editing.
  • Strong team building, management and capacity development skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members.
  • Proficient in MS Office
