Responsible for planning, development and implementation of hardware, software applications, programming and systems network and integration of Management Information System.
Prepare budget for hardware and software required for MIS.
Prepare and establish procedures and standards for access to data processing facilities and the data itself.
Coordinate with the employees involved in using information systems and help them to understand the configuration of the systems.
Ensure routine backups are performed.
Prepare various reports as per management requirement.
Develop and implement MIS policies to ensure data accuracy and security.
Assist in maintaining and updating of web site and intranet.
Job Specification
Must have excellent supervisory skills and must be able to communicate with management and users on topics relating to the operation of MIS system.
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Information System Management, Computer Science or Information Technology. Certifications in areas of network administration, information systems audit and systems development will be given a priority.
