Job Description
The Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting advanced research, performing data analysis, and supporting the preparation and publication of academic and professional research papers. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background (preferably M.Sc. in Civil Engineering or related field), with hands-on experience in data analysis tools, GIS mapping, and research writing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct statistical and quantitative data analysis using software such as SPSS, R, Smart PLS, and Excel.
Perform GIS-based spatial analysis and mapping for research and project reports.
Develop and validate research models, methodologies, and frameworks.
Assist in writing, editing, and formatting research papers, theses, and journal articles.
Ensure accuracy, originality, and compliance with academic and journal publication standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand project objectives and deliver analytical insights.
Prepare and present analytical reports, charts, and visual data interpretations.
Stay updated with emerging research trends, analytical tools, and publication guidelines.
Job Specification
Education: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, GIS, Statistics, or related field.
Experience: Prior experience in academic research, data analysis, or publication support is preferred.
Minimum one article published in Scopus index
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SPSS, R, Smart PLS, and Microsoft Excel.
Sound knowledge of GIS mapping software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.).
Strong understanding of research design, methodologies, and data interpretation.
Other Skills:
Excellent report writing and academic documentation skills.
Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
