Job Description
- Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the daily engineering services of the company
- Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements
- Monitor project progression, resolve any issues that arise and coordinate team activities to maintain approved schedule
- Control project pace and suggest schedule changes as needed
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
- Support the engineering team in executing projects in a timely manner
- Plan and execute the preparation of structural calculation and documents
- Provide site supervision support and develop bill of quantities
- Assist and support structural engineer-manager and senior structural engineers in executing projects effectively
- Prepare reports and assist in the establishment and management of project schedules
- Support drafting/design team to produce quality drawings and designs
- Create and maintain client relationships
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
- Deliver capacity building sessions to subordinates and others
