Position: Senior Financial Officer (Recent Job)

Auditing financial information internally and liaising with the auditors during the annual financial audits.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Preparation of accounts and tax returns.
Financial forecasting and risk analysis.
Performing statutory tax compliance duties.
Controlling the income and expenditure of clients and/or your company.

Excellent organisational skills Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
At least 3 years of experience.
Report writing for audiences without financial expertise.
Able to manage conflicting priorities.
Able to work independently.
A sound understanding of administration procedures.
An understanding of various caring professions Minimum three years post-AAT qualification professional experience.
Coordinating a financial year-end procedure in an SME.
Preparing statutory returns .
Able to work to deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to empathise with individuals lacking financial expertise.
Sage accounting software including payroll.
Windows applications including Word, Excel and Email Document management systems.
