Job Description

• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to all students in the class
• Teaching according to the educational needs, abilities, and achievement of the individual students and group of students
• Assigning work, preparing question papers, correcting and marking work carried out by his/her students 
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment, and behavior of one’s students
• Participating in staff, group or other meetings related to the school curriculum for the betterment and growth of the organization
• Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction in the form of discussion, direct teaching, demonstrations and independent practice using a variety of proven methods
• Evaluate student performance on tasks established by the standards using different methods such as observation, performance-based tasks or other standard test practices
• Maintain a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by modeling expected behavior and standards, promoting positive interactions and quickly addressing behaviors that are not in line with the school discipline plan
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress, potential and behavior periodically through phone or electronic means and at parent and teacher conferences
• Improve skills and knowledge in teaching by regularly taking classes, attending workshops and discovering new methods of delivering exciting content to students

  Other Specification

  • Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in the related field
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the related field
  • Fluency in both English and Nepali (oral and written)
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, dedicated and professional knowledge and implementation skills in the related field
  • Must be polite and dutiful
  • Interact with parents to enhance learning process of students
