Job Description
  • Greet clients as soon as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate party
  • Complete all checklist items for the appropriate shift
  • Scheduled daily group activities, names and location of meeting/banquet rooms
  • Performs various administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor
  • Answer the phone in a timely manner and take messages or forward calls
  • Deal with bookings by phone, e-mail, letter, fax or face-to-face
  • Complete procedures when Guests arrive and leave
  • Prepare bills and take payments
  • Take and pass on messages to Guests
  • Deal with special requests from Guests
  • Answer questions about what the banquet offers and the surrounding area
  • Deal with complaints or problems
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain event calendars
  • Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
Job Specification
  • Intermediate from recognized University
  • Proficiency in English/Hindi/Nepali Language
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail
  • Friendly, flexible and adaptable
  • Sound knowledge in MS Office package
  • Strong phone/direct contact handling skills and active listening
  • Good negotiation skills with ability to maintain client relationship
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skill with pleasant personality
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Experience in related field will be an advantage
