Job Description
- Greet clients as soon as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate party
- Complete all checklist items for the appropriate shift
- Scheduled daily group activities, names and location of meeting/banquet rooms
- Performs various administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor
- Answer the phone in a timely manner and take messages or forward calls
- Deal with bookings by phone, e-mail, letter, fax or face-to-face
- Complete procedures when Guests arrive and leave
- Prepare bills and take payments
- Take and pass on messages to Guests
- Deal with special requests from Guests
- Answer questions about what the banquet offers and the surrounding area
- Deal with complaints or problems
- Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain event calendars
- Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
Job Specification
- Intermediate from recognized University
- Proficiency in English/Hindi/Nepali Language
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail
- Friendly, flexible and adaptable
- Sound knowledge in MS Office package
- Strong phone/direct contact handling skills and active listening
- Good negotiation skills with ability to maintain client relationship
- Excellent Interpersonal Skill with pleasant personality
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Experience in related field will be an advantage
