Job Description

Divya Yuva Club (DYC) Parsa is a non-Governmental, non-profitable organization. DYCParsa invites application from qualified Nepali candidate for the following position in Empowering a New Generation of Adolescent Girls with Education (ENGAGE) Project and Local Right Program have been implementing in Parsa district.

Role Overview  Responsible for the district level planning and implementation and delivering the project interventions ensuring high quality results within the stipulated timeframe with available resources. She/he will maintain regular coordination, communication with project team, line agencies and will be responsible to develop AIP, DIP, project implementation guideline, She/he will facilitate to streamline monitoring system, document and sharing best practices on local right program, Ensure achievement of project goal and objectives through adequate mobilization of project staff with proper orientation, coaching and mentoring, Coordinate with local government authorities and other non-governmental organizations for the effective implementation of project activities, through regular meetings, interactions, sharing project activities, and initiating joint monitoring visits, Ensure that monthly plan of all staff are closely tie up with project work plans and activity log frameand maintained linkage, Coordination and reporting at project level

Responsible for Financial management, accounting and administration for the smooth operation of the organization responsibly maintaining transparent accountable and internal control system within organization as per the policy and compliance. S/he will be maintaining and reporting the financial reports, projecting the annual budget, manage financial data and office documents, assisting the project coordinator in the preparation of the annual budget in close coordination with the program team and VSO Nepal. S/he will be responsible for monitoring, auditing and evaluating the budget effectiveness to the target groups. FC will work closely with Project Coordinator, and Program management team to implement financial and administrative planning in an acceptable standard.

Skill, qualification and experience required
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social science or related university degree from recognized University (Master’s degree preferable)
  • At least three (3) years of work experience; experience in project management level in related field.
  • Able to travel and spend time in the Project District all community areas.
  • Able to communicate effectively in Local Language
  • Strong English communication skills required for the role and will be tested at interview. Good Computer skills 
  • Should have knowledge/experience on HRBA based programme
  • Good programmatic knowledge on Women’s rights, Education, Livelihood, Disaster and Child Focused Programme
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce of Business studies or relevant academic qualification with at least three years relevant experiences.
  • Good knowledge in accounting and office management 
  • English communication skills required
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in MS word, Excel / Excel reporting 
  • Demonstration of excellent team working and relationship building skills
  • Strong English communication skills required for the role and will be tested at interview.
