Job Description
Human Resource Management
- Direct, plan and coordinate the work of the program staff including supervision and evaluation, training and team building
- Guide, support and lead staff to ensure quality performance and desired outcomes
- Ensure adequate and qualified staff, interns or volunteers to carry out the program activities
- In consultation with the executive director, responsible for the selection, hiring, coaching, and discipline of the program employees
Program and Projects Management
- Responsible for the implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all activities of the program
- Responsible for the supervision and management of the data management
- Responsible for accurate accounts and book keeping
- Compile, maintain and report on the monthly, quarterly and annual program statistics to executive director
- Implement, manage, supervise and evaluate all activities related to the leader programs
- Develop, maintain and strengthen relationship with granters, supporters and other organizations to strengthen Clean up Nepal programs, fundraising and branding
- Head, oversee and edit report, proposal and all publication of Clean up Nepal
Job Specification
- Strategic thinker with experience pushing forward organizational mission and vision while considering and overcoming challenges
- Able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Degree in Masters Social Work/Environmental Science/Engineering/Public Health or equivalent
- Strong problem solving and group work leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound computer skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Access to a vehicle
- Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken Nepali and English
- An interest or background in the environment, especially waste management, desirable but not necessary
