Job Description

Human Resource Management 

  • Direct, plan and coordinate the work of the program staff including supervision and evaluation, training and team building
  • Guide, support and lead staff to ensure quality performance and desired outcomes
  • Ensure adequate and qualified staff, interns or volunteers to carry out the program activities
  • In consultation with the executive director, responsible for the selection, hiring, coaching, and discipline of the program employees

Program and Projects Management 

  • Responsible for the implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all activities of the program
  • Responsible for the supervision and management of the data management
  • Responsible for accurate accounts and book keeping
  • Compile, maintain and report on the monthly, quarterly and annual program statistics to executive director
  • Implement, manage, supervise and evaluate all activities related to the leader programs 
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen relationship with granters, supporters and other organizations to strengthen Clean up Nepal programs, fundraising and branding
  • Head, oversee and edit report, proposal and all publication of Clean up Nepal
Job Specification
  • Strategic thinker with experience pushing forward organizational mission and vision while considering and overcoming challenges
  • Able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Degree in Masters Social Work/Environmental Science/Engineering/Public Health or equivalent
  • Strong problem solving and group work leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Sound computer skills 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken Nepali and English
  • An interest or background in the environment, especially waste management, desirable but not necessary
