Position: NOC Engineer (Recent Job)

Job Description

•     Work closely with System Admins, Product owners and Sr. NOC Technicians
•     Act as lead triage agent in Application Support for internal product and numerous 3rd party applications during outage events
•     Taking ownership of Operations and Infrastructure service requests
•     Lead on technical Systems tools and utilization.
•     Monitor automated systems and branch systems
•     Support software deployments through completion and ensure the systems are up to date on patching and vulnerabilities.
•     Monitor all core systems to maintain system up time
•     Designing and implementing processes to ensure high availability of all systems and take immediate control of production problems and drive them to resolution
•     Documenting internal support processes and procedures
•     Leading, coordinating, documenting and participating in key process improvements
•     Implementing and enforcing system and data security measures
•     Working closely with all teams in technology on projects of all scopes, including complex and cross-functional efforts
•     Work with system owners to implement needed changes
•     Perform NMS Testing on WAN or LAN infrastructure upgrades.
•     Work with senior engineers with ISP environment
•     Generate required reports such as; Wireshark, Nagios, CACTI, Network Management System (NMS) and other monitoring-tool reports and traces in support of existing incidents and forensic reviews.

Experience Required     :     Less than or equals to 1 year
Age     :     Less than or equals to 25 years
Professional Skill Required     :     Ccna Linux
