Job Description
- Research and develop machine learning models and work on the whole ML pipeline: data collection, wrangling, pre-processing, model building, evaluation, and deployment
- Demonstrate an end-to-end holistic understanding of the applications being created
- Help AI product managers and business stakeholders understand the potential and limitations of AI when planning and executing on projects
- Deploy and help manage the data pipelines and infrastructure on cloud platforms needed to make AI work in production
- Debug and analyze ML system performance in Production
- Prepare and present results and analysis to stakeholders when necessary
- Regularly attend internal and client meetings
- Create APIs and help business customers put results of your AI models into operations
- Provide proper guidance and supervision of subordinate engineers and their work
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, collaborative, with an eagerness to learn
- Regular, reliable attendance is a requirement for this job

Job Specification
- Good grasp of Basic Machine Learning concepts: algorithms, evaluation procedures, etc and mathematical foundation for ML: Linear Algebra, Probability, and Statistics, Calculus, etc.
- Proficiency in designing Python applications including proper packaging, test-suites, etc.
- Good grasp of data science libraries like numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc, deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, etc and GPU computing
- Ability to work on ML services on the cloud: AWS, GCP, etc.
- Good grasp of Python web frameworks such as Flask, Django, etc with the ability to design, build and work with RESTful Web Services in JSON and XML formats
- Familiarity with domain-specific libraries: Eg: OpenCV, NLTK, etc.
- Ability to apply AI in one or more of the following areas: Natural Language Processing, computer vision, recommendation systems, forecasting, or similar
- Ability to conduct an independent literature review for projects and implement relevant techniques from those papers
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases with hands-on experience in at least one database system
- Solid understanding of Data Structure & Algorithms and Object Oriented Programming concepts
- Knowledge of Linux / Windows with system troubleshooting capabilities.
- Familiarity with Version Control tools such as Git
- Familiarity or the ability to learn and adapt to current trends and best practices
- Strong problem solving and written and verbal communication skills in English
