Position: Layout Designer (Recent Job)

Job Description

• Arrange page elements for advertisments, web pages and magazines
• Ensuring that page elements including imags and txt work togethr on ach page and create a clear flow of information
• Make decisions about text sizes, style and fonts including text spacing and arrangement
• Able to modify pag graphics in order to improvee the overall look and flow of the publication. Also ensuring that all the graphics do not overshadow th txt or vic versa
• Carefully check page proofs to eliminate errors and make sure that the design looks right before sending it to the press
• Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc
• Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
• Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
