Job Description
  • Conduct regular customer visits to generate sales by building-up in-depth knowledge of AAC Block. Generate lead and opportunities to sell AAC Block, thereof negotiating packages for sales. Recommend new prospects about solutions to substitute red clay bricks with AAC block.
  • Search for sales opportunities for AAC Block through cold-calling, networking and social media where applicable.
  • Establish business contacts or customer relationships with potential clients, including but not limited to, builders, household/individual contractors, and distributors to generate sales and sales lead.
  • Handle sales inquiries, complaints and feedback received from existing and prospective customers through visits as per enquirers received, pending enquirers, and major prospects to maintain relationships with them.
  • Make daily sales call to prospective customers. For any sales and orders received, record such information and maintain its copies.
  • Monitor activity of competitors frequently about product specification, pricing, and their marketing strategies, and keeping of up-to-date knowledge of AAC Block, its market situation, and business opportunities.
  • Prepare daily progress reports of sales tasks performed. And, review own sales performance via sales report of previous month, and aim towards meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Desking deals and daily reconciliations of sold inventory: AAC Block.
  • Serve as the point of contact with distributors in the assigned area. Also, collaborate with local distributors to ensure proper inventory and deliveries.
  • All other activities as assigned by your Line Manager as and when necessary
