Job Description
  • Assist in preparing design criteria for projects and in preparing design briefs in coordination with the Design Manager and the Head of Architecture 
  • Assist in Architectural Design and detailing
  • Attend coordination meetings with the Client and Local Authorities to determine requirements of projects
  • Assist in carrying out feasibility studies of various options (Preferred by Client) with the Design team
  • Assist in coordinating all local information with the Technical Manager and the Design Manager
  • Assist in ensuring completed design stages are agreed with Client before progressing to the next stage
  • Assists in preparation of layout and draws preliminary sketch of project to present to client and assist in Presentations to Clients and Authorities
  • Assist in coordinating the detailed Design to ensure compliance with local codes/Authorities, with the Design Team    
  • Assist in ensuring all design works carried out by the Design teams, incorporates the Client/Authorities feedback
  • Assist in resolving any technical problems faced by the Designers during the project design and/or Construction Stages       
  • Assist in coordinating information for cost and quantity estimates with the QS
  • Assist in coordinating specifications, drawings etc. with the Designers of other disciplines in Singapore and/or other offices
  • Attend Client’s design and site meetings as and when required
  • Analyzes space utilization effectiveness and changing demands for space needs
  • Reviews shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction material recommendations submitted by outside architects and contractors to ensure adherence to contract and notifies Architect of discrepancies
  • Provides support to Architects and management staff
Job Specification
  • Masters of Architecture degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience
  • Should have sound knowledge of working with AutoCAD and 3D architectural software
  • Previous international experience is an advantage
  • Excellent organisational skills, including ability to deliver against competing priorities and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • A positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude towards delivering results
  • Keen to work in a challenging, multinational environment with flexibility regarding working hours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Nepali, including strong writing and editing skills
