Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Store Keeper for our Central Store in Biratnagar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock records, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting smooth store operations. The role requires strong organizational and accounting skills to effectively manage stock and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
Regularly update stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
Coordinate with procurement and accounts departments for purchase orders and billing.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of materials for easy access.
Monitor stock aging and manage inventory to minimize wastage or overstocking.
Conduct periodic stock audits and prepare inventory reports.
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards within the store.
Support internal departments with timely supply of required materials.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Management or Commerce).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
- Knowledge of accounting and inventory software preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic accounting systems.
- Detail-oriented, honest, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
