Job Description
- Understand and analyze the brief provided by the client or the line manager and design visual materials accordingly.
- Conduct necessary research to formulate ideas or support the aspects of the creative process to create original and captivating visual designs.
- Familiarzing themselves with the product, target audience and necessary activities in the market through the creative team or by themselves for the purpose of original and compelling visual communication.
- Work with the assigned creative and marketing team to develop the visual identity of brands (from logo to entire brand guide) and also visuals for the marketing campaigns as per the periodic assignments to help shape a brand or marketing message.
- Stayng up to date with industry trends and help clients stand out or ahead of the competition.
- Producing consistently excellemt visual work as per the criteria set by the client and the line manager.
- Design (or create) graphics to meet specific commercial, promotional or client's needs such as packaging, displays, logos or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, magazine advertorials, etc.
- Use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects and often select the type, font, size, color, line length of headlines, headings text and other necessary elements for effective, attractive and goal fulfilling visual outcome.
- Understand and transform statistical data to other complex data and content into visual graphics and diagrams (eg: Infographics), which can make complex ideas more accessible.
- Modify designs until the client is satisfied and the goals set by the line manager is met.
- Presenting ideas for visual work to the line manager, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts.
- Communicating productivity with management and clients to keep them up-to-date with project milestones.
- Assisting the junior graphic designers with their work, only when needed.
- Generate UI/UX strategies based on organization target goals.
- Develop UI mockups, wireframes and prototype that clearly illustrate how sites/application should look like and function.
- Making necessary changes/updates on mockups based on feedback/suggestions.
- Plan and implement new designs and optimize existing user interface designs.
- Design builds and maintain highly reusable Javascript, HTML and CSS code.
- Design graphic elements needed for websites and web applications.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholfers of the project.
- Ensure designs are cross-browser compatible
Job Specification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management skill and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A keen eye to aesthetics, details and overall visual composition.
- Know how to make motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator,XD, Sketch or other visual design, prototyping, wire-framing tools.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related frameworks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Should be a self-motivated and adaptive learner.
- Experience Required: 1 year or above
