The Role

The Technical Coordinator-Transformative Women Political Leadership in Nepal will steer and facilitate the delivery of Transformative Women Political Leadership project. The incumbent will contribute to create an enabling environment in leadership of women and girl from poor, vulnerable and marginalized groups for meaningful and substantive position in overall governance at all levels in Baitadi district of Nepal.

What we are looking for

The Technical Coordinatorwill require to be exceptional, dedicated, and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Oxfam's values and beliefs with the following qualification and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline related to Gender Studies, Social Science Law, Sociology.
  • Hands on programme management experience with minimum of 3 years of working experience in strategy development, project cycle management, HR, and financial management.
  • Sound technical knowledge and experience in gender, Women’s Right, Feminism and Right-Based programming.
  • Ability toanalyse, network, communicate, influenceand manage relationship with wide range of stakeholders including partner organisatioin, donors and government.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify and implement opportunities for innovation.
  • Good understanding of the socio-economic, political, and ecological conditions of the region.
  • Experience in capacity building of team and stakeholders including training, facilitation, coaching and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of online MIS and Excel.
  • Fluency in English and Nepali language (both, written and verbal).
  • Proven team leadership and proven track record in achieving great team performance and sound ability to work together with others and independently as required.
