Job Description
- Planning and executing the installation, configuration, and tuning of PBX servers.
- Provide configuration and troubleshooting support and solve technical problems on a variety of hardware and software platforms.
- Liaised with Telecommunications vendors on escalated issues pertaining to systems and telecommunications.
- Provide on-call operational level support for all departments.
- Develops and generates reports based on requirements.
- Upgrades systems by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
- Configure and maintain Interactive Voice Response (IVR) scripts to meet department requirements regarding inbound call handling.
- Troubleshooting SIP-related network issues.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Specification
- Good understanding of PBX telephony.
- Familiar with Session Initiation Protocol( SIP), Real-Time Transport Protocol(RTP).
- IP networking, IP addressing/ subnetting.
- Well-versed with Cisco IP Telephony.
- Basic understanding of firewalls.
- Experience with Elastix, Issabel, 3CX, and similar PBX technologies.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and passion for learning.
