Job Description
  • Lead technical assessments at field level in coordination with the technical site supervisors ensuring assessment findings are well documented
  • Support in conducting safer building construction related capacity development and awareness raising within the community.
  • Undertake regular monitoring visits to wards to evaluate levels of compliance to earthquake resistant reconstruction techniques and provide any technical advice to the site supervisors, local authorities and house owners to improve quality of constructions
  • Prepare detail design, drawing, cost estimation
  • Work in close coordination and build linkages with technical experts from NRA, DUDBC and Municipality at the district level
Job Specification
  • Specific knowledge on DUDBC guidelines and Nepal National building code
  • Proficiency in CAD, ETABS, MS Office and other relevant softwares
  • Proficient in report writing both in Nepali and English
  • Must be registered with Nepal Engineering Council (NEC)
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have a valid driving license
  • Candidates must have taken TOT for engineers
