Job Description

Purpose of the Job: 

The PC worker as part of the PC team assists the nurses in providing a holistic clinical PC service. The PC worker is a key member of the PC team who will be expected to assist to smooth running of PC services in the inpatient, outpatient, community and day therapy settings; undertake appropriate PC training; provide direction to less experienced staff; contribute to the strategic education and training and be involved with the various ongoing research and audit projects undertaken by the service.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

  • Qualified ANM/CMA, registered with relevant council with minimum 6 months of relevant experience in multidisciplinary team. 
  • Training and experience in palliative care will be an advantage.  
  • Good computer skill in word and excel. 
  • Good English language skill (written and spoken), good numeracy and interpersonal skills. 
  • A positive and proactive approach to patient care with genuine interest in helping people. 
  • Ability to work in a team and passionately demonstrate INF Nepal’s value in work setting.
