PROGRAMME SUPPORT OFFICER

Level:D1

"Applicable for Nepali Nationals only"

The Role: 

  • The position holder is responsible in supporting the Programme Management Unit (PMU) including the Programme Manager, Finance Manager in the implementation of its complex multi-country programme (Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan and Philippines), including project administration and coordination; logistics; research; workplan tracking.
  • S/he will be responsible for the operational aspects of the data management process and reporting, responsible for supporting country teams and regional partners to adapt them i.e. collecting data on a month to month basis, and supporting the MEL Manager in coordinating the learning groups and implementing the learning agenda including supporting the production of learning products and coordinating annual face-to-face meetings.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will have proven ability to work with the PMU including the Programme Manager, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager, Finance Manager, and with five country offices and six regional partners.

We are looking for an exceptional, dedicated, and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Oxfam's values and beliefs with the following qualification and competencies:

  • Undergraduate in related field with at least 3 years’ experience

  • Experience in research or reporting preferably in the international development sector

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills and the ability to priorities competing priorities and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work effectively with others to achieve results in international contexts, with strong communications and coordination skills

  • Strong understanding of MEAL practices with institutional donors.
