Job Description
- Plan and organize large-scale data collection campaigns.
- Assists in the development and management of project plans including defining requirements, tasks, and resource assignments, ensuring that approved quality levels and deadlines are met.
- Oversee, train, and supervise a team of “Field Mappers”, student interns and community volunteers.
- Communicate about project activity, including assisting with regular blogs posts and(social) media updates.
- Provide guidance and expertise on participatory mapping and OpenStreetMap.
- Develop and provide training in OpenStreetMap and related tools to local partners.
- Organize periodic community mapping events and nurture the growth and sustainability of the OpenStreetMap community & open data ecosystem.
- Assist in project report writing and translation as necessary.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree running.
- Fresher or at least one year of experience in GIS and spatial data tools.
