Job Description
- Edit scripts of a variety of subjects and of different academic levels that will be used in making video lessons.
- Quality check and plagiarism check the content of scripts to ensure that the subject matter is correct and original.
- Collaborate with content experts of various subjects and provide advice that will help improve the quality of scripts.
- Provide creative input to make video lessons more engaging and exciting for learners.
- Oversee the voice recording or video shoots of scripts to ensure correct and smooth narration of scripts.
- Review and quality check videos to suggest corrections to ensure the video lessons are of the best quality.
- Actively participate in team meetings and maintain cohesion with the rest of the English Editors.
Job Specification
- Masters degree preferably in Communications or English
- At least 3 years of work experience in a related field or position.
- Excellent command of English
- Ability to communicate effectively with various members of the organization
- Sense of responsibility for the deadlines and objectives of various projects
- Ownership of the quality of work that is expected of them
- Willingness to take up new roles and responsibilities when needed
- Organizational skills
