Job Description
  • This position will be responsible to conduct desk review of relevant documents, reports, and articles nationally and globally on the Growth Monitoring and Promotion (GMP) program; conduct consultative meetings with Nutrition Section/FWD, partners and relevant stakeholders to develop the guideline; conduct field testing and feedbacks collection at selected health facilities draft and finalize the GMP guideline in coordination with Nutrition Section, FWD and Suaahara II; develop the field-testing approach and tools in coordination with Suaahara II nutrition, health and M&E teams and Nutrition Section, FWD; submit the final version of the GMP guideline to SPII and Nutrition Section, FWD.
Job Specification
  • Master's degree in public health
  • At least 10 years work experience in National Nutrition Program
  • Preferred prior experience in developing national-level strategies guidelines, protocols particularly nutrition programs
  • Ability to demonstrate a working relationship with the government and partners in the nutrition sector
  • Good understanding of the national nutrition program and health system
  • Proficient writing skills in Nepali
