Job Description
  • To follow the Demi Chef de Partie instructions for menu plans and daily preparations.
  • To ensure that products are consistently prepared according to the highest possible standards.
  • To comply with the latest Health and Sanitation regulations and to follow proper cleaning procedures accordingly.
  • To know the requirements of the menus and to plan ahead for operational needs accordingly.
  • To report work orders to the Demi Chef de Partie when deficiencies are noted or when maintenance is required and to follow up on the work orders in a timely       manner.
  • To complete a work registration form correctly every month and to submit it to the Demi Chef de Partie in a timely manner.
  • To adhere to all company policies and procedures, manuals and directives.
  • To communicate with the Demi Chef de Partie to keep left over food to a minimum in order to keep the food cost at a minimum.
  • To be cost conscious with the use of cleaning materials and other consumables.
  • To ensure that company property is maintained properly and treated with respect at all times.
  • To properly use personal protective equipment in work areas at all times.
  • To practice safe lifting techniques at all times.
  • To practice safe/proper kitchen equipment handling at all times.
  • To attend meetings with the kitchen staff on a daily basis.
  • To communicate with the Demi Chef de Partie on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Job Specification
  • You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and previous 2-year experiences in quality establishments along with good culinary skills.
  • The ability to communicate in English and a proven track of food preparation, presentation and preservation knowledge is an essential.
  • The ideal candidate will be positively spirited and passionate about food and be committed to work together with the service team to deliver an amazing guest experiences.
  • The candidate should be dynamic, creative and dedicated team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment and under difficult condition
