Job Description

Job Responsibilities

The business development manager will lead sales and client-relationship management,
track new markets and emerging trends, recommends new products and services,
proposes and writes proposals and plans, and guides long-term objectives to meet
business needs and requirements.
The Business Development Manager reports to the Executive Director and interacts with
the operations team.

Job Description

● Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events,
publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their
accomplishments.
● Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners;
discovering and exploring opportunities.
● Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal
requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal
priorities.
● Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new
venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials.
● Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and
negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business
operations.
● Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
● Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading
professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in
professional organizations and events.
● Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new
and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job
accomplishments.
● Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring
they are met.

Job Specification

Qualifications:

1. MBA in Management with Marketing or Business as a  Major Subject.
2. Prior experience in the related field will be an added advantage.

Knowledge:

1. Ability to speak read and write English.
2. Knowledge of planning and organizing small to large scale events.
3. Possess a broad network and database of VIP guests.
4. Knowledge of web designing.
5. Awareness and compliance with company policies and procedures, essential.
