Job Description

We are looking for a competent Administration and Finance Office to take the charge of the company’s Account, Administration and Human Resource management.Maintain an organized filing system for important and confidential documents.

Administration

  • Answer queries of employees and clients and support update office policies as needed.
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments (Arrange travel and accommodations/ events).
  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders.
  • Manage office administration, operations and provide logistics support in-office events; process for allowances subsequently.
  • Update purchase & sales records and ensure the payment received installment details.

Human Resource

  • Support the organizational development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Be actively responsible for overall HR procedures and ensure the proper documentation of personnel documents.
  • Assist in performance management processes.
  • Update personal files of all staff.
  • Update leave record, attendance sheet, etc. as per organization norms.

Account/Finance

  • Prepare journal vouchers, update checkbooks and bank details.
  • Keep financial records and perform financial procedures (e.g., receipts, payments, and petty cash).
  • Daily management of financial transactions and procedures and prepare balance sheets; invoices.
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable and update internal systems in the firm’s archives with financial data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (weekly briefing to the Board of Directors).
  • Reconcile bank statements and track bank deposits and payments periodically.
  • Actively participate in financial audits and assist the organization.
  • Update and implement the Government of Nepal’s financial policies, tax laws (e-TDS, VAT, etc.)
  • Provide necessary information and support to the program team for the preparation of monthly worksheet advance requests & settlement procedures etc.
  • Maintain accounting records, ensuring they are complete, accurate, well archived, and safeguarded.
  • Maintain cordial relations with the team member, staff of the other organization, and stakeholders.
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Show an analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Should be able to work independently and with flexible timings.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director or Director or Management team.

Job Specification

  • Minimum five years of relevant proven work experience in a well-reputed company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (BBA/BBS), preferably MBA/MBS.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Fluency in English and Nepali language with writing (including computer typing) and speaking skills.
  • Should have strong knowledge of accounting software Tally ERP 9.
  • Should have good knowledge of VAT & TAX system of Government of Nepal.
  • Competent in using MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills with excellent analytical, numerical, and time management skills.
  • The applicant with a two-wheeler driving license and owner of a two-wheeler will be an advantage.
