Job Description
  • Take  charge of all the programs assigned by the School of Hotel Management
  • Inspect class rooms and ensure all the academic arrangements based on the need of faculty members, for e.g. multimedia, sound system, stationary, etc.
  • Make academic Calendar and ensure all classes to be conducted according to the schedules within the calendar.
  • Manage the classes in absence of faculty members both in practical and theoretical.
  • Publish notices at least a week or before for any kind of school activities
  • Attend inquires of students/Faculties/Parents and give amicable solutions as and when required, take advice of Head of School if required
  • Track daily attendance of faculty members and also the students and counsel for any deviations.
  • Coordinate with respective universities for exams, results and other related works.
  • Manage National and International Internship programs as demanded by the program
  • Make an advance pool of faculty members for any kind of replacements or alternatives required.
  • Successfully implement the non-credit academic activities of each semester(Please check the published list of activities)
  • Organize welcome and farewell programs, semester wise orientation, CR meetings and semester wise faculty meetings to ensure a well-organized school culture
  • Make the contract of faculty members and coordinate with accounts regarding their timely payments (Use standard contract forms as prescribed by the college).
  • Take student feedbacks as and when required and make amicable solutions if required
  • Counseling, follow up and take interview of new prospective students and help administration to achieve the par level of students number.
  • Make sure to have an excellent rapport with faculty, students, administrative staff and parents. This should be the most important outcome of this position
  • Coordinate with Exams Coordinator for internal assessments, pre-board examination, board examination and practical examination.
  • Make sure to have a yearly budget of your section and get it approved in advance with Head of School before the beginning of the new fiscal year starting Shrawan of Nepalese colander.
  • Responsible for daily reporting of activities to Head of School, School of Hotel Management
Job Specification
  • Candidates must have completed Master's degree
  • Must have at least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Masters in Hotel Management are preferred.
  • Good Proficiency in English would a plus point.
