Job Summary

The Head of Marketing – 2W TVS Nepal is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand equity, market share, and revenue growth for TVS two-wheelers across Nepal. The role leads all marketing functions including brand management, product launches, trade marketing, digital marketing, and consumer insights ensuring TVS remains the preferred two-wheeler brand in the Nepali market.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing & Planning
  • Develop the annual and long-term marketing strategy aligned with TVS Nepal's business objectives and TVS Motor Company's (India) brand guidelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis including competitor benchmarking, consumer behavior studies, and trend identification across Nepal's 2W segment (scooters, motorcycles, commuter bikes, performance bikes).
  • Define brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition for each TVS 2W product line in the Nepali context.
  • Prepare and manage the Annual Marketing Budget (ATL + BTL + Digital) ensuring optimal ROI on every rupee spent.
  • Collaborate with the India HQ / Regional Marketing team to align local strategy with global TVS brand direction.
  • Brand Management
  • Uphold and strengthen the TVS brand identity across all consumer touchpoints in Nepal.
  • Lead all ATL campaigns (TV, radio, outdoor, print) ensuring creative excellence and media efficiency.
  • Oversee brand health tracking — monitor awareness, consideration, preference, and NPS metrics regularly.
  • Champion localized storytelling and culturally relevant campaigns for the Nepali audience (Dashain, Tihar, regional themes, rural outreach).
  • Product Marketing & Launch Management
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches — from pre-launch buzz to post-launch sustenance.
  • Develop product-specific positioning, pricing communication, and competitive differentiation messaging.
  • Work closely with Sales and Product Planning teams to monitor product portfolio performance and recommend marketing interventions.
  • Ensure all product communication (specs, features, USPs) is accurate, compelling, and regulator-compliant.
  • Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
  • Own the digital marketing roadmap — SEO/SEM, social media, OTT, influencer marketing, YouTube, and performance marketing.
  • Manage TVS Nepal's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok (where applicable), and manage community engagement.
  • Leverage data analytics and marketing technology tools (CRM, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager) to drive performance marketing efficiency.
  • Drive lead generation digitally and ensure proper MQL-to-SQL handoff with the Sales team.
  • Explore and build capabilities for online buyer journeys (configurators, test ride bookings, EMI calculators on web).
  • Consumer Insights & Market Intelligence
  • Commission and interpret primary and secondary research — brand health studies, U&A (Usage & Attitude) studies, and competitive tracking.
  • Maintain a live market intelligence dashboard covering competition activity, share of voice, market share, and pricing.
  • Provide actionable insights to Sales, Product, and Leadership teams.
  • Partnerships, Sponsorships & PR
  • Identify and manage strategic sponsorships (motorsport, sports events, cultural events) aligned to brand values.
  • Oversee PR and media relations — press releases, product launches, media test rides, and crisis communication.
  • Build and manage relationships with advertising agencies, media buying agencies, digital agencies, and event management firms.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure campaign success, brand engagement, and ROI.
  • Present monthly and quarterly performance reports to management.
  • Ensure real-time monitoring of marketing activities at both corporate and regional levels.

Job Specifications

  • Educational Qualifications: MBA / PGDM in Marketing from a reputed institution (India / Nepal / International)
  • Preferred MBA from a top-tier B-School with specialization in Marketing or Brand Management
  • Additional Certifications in Digital Marketing (Google, Meta, HubSpot) are an added advantage

Experience Requirements:10–15 years of progressive marketing experience; minimum 4–5 years in a marketing leadership / Head of Marketing role in Automotive Industry (2W or 4W preferred)

Other Requirements

  • Valid Nepal driving license (preferred — for product test drives and field visits)
  • Willingness to travel 30–40% across Nepal (dealer visits, market activations, regional events)
  • Familiarity with Nepal's regulatory environment for advertising and automotive sector
  • Network within Nepal's automotive, media, and advertising ecosystem is a strong plus
