MARKETING MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION
A. Must-Have (Core Requirements – Non-Negotiable)
Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in leading high-performing marketing teams and managing comprehensive campaigns.
Technical & Functional Skills:
• Deep understanding and execution of performance-driven marketing strategies across multiple channels (digital and traditional).
• Solid experience in technical branding, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across platforms.
• Skilled in both online (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) and offline marketing (events, print, activations).
• Competence in preparing impactful marketing presentations, dashboards, and performance reports to communicate progress and insights.
• Proficient in managing and optimizing campaigns across platforms such as:
o Google Ads
o Meta/Facebook Business Manager
o Email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid)
o Google Analytics & other performance tracking tools
Soft Skills:
• Strategic thinker with a strong bias for data-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills (written, verbal, and visual).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
B. Should-Have (Trainable within a Few Months)
Experience:
• Experience using AI-driven marketing tools for analytics, personalization, and automation.
• Prior experience managing budgets, media buying, and resource allocation.
• Collaboration experience with internal teams such as sales, product, design, and content.
Technical & Functional Skills:
• Familiarity with platforms such as:
o HubSpot, Salesforce (or similar CRM tools)
o ERP software and marketing automation platforms
o Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite for visual collaboration
• Understanding of customer journey mapping and conversion funnel optimization.
Soft Skills:
• Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, especially in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
C. Nice-to-Have (Value-Added Skills)
Experience:
• Exposure to AI-powered content creation tools (e.g., Jasper, ChatGPT, SEMrush).
• Experience in planning and executing marketing events, roadshows, and offline campaigns.
• Capability to build and manage relationships with external agencies and partners.
Certifications:
• Certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Digital Garage, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot Academy).
Strategic & Leadership Exposure:
• Involvement in sales enablement, campaign strategy, and crafting high-conversion content.
• Ability to create and manage long-term marketing roadmaps and KPIs.
