Key Responsibilities
- Process and review loan applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Verify borrower financial information—credit history, income, and assets—to support informed underwriting decisions.
- Liaise with clients, underwriters, loan officers, and internal teams to collect, clarify, and complete required documentation.
- Manage an active loan pipeline, proactively tracking progress and resolving issues to meet closing deadlines.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records in CRM systems, ensuring transparency and process accuracy.
- Deliver high-quality customer service through professional communication and proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure ongoing compliance by adhering to established procedures and staying current with regulatory updates.
- Work independently to prioritize tasks, address processing delays, and support loan consultants throughout the loan cycle.
- 1–2 years of experience in loan processing or related role in a financial institution (mortgage, consumer, or commercial loans).
- Familiarity with loan documentation, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
- Analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work closely with a diverse and cross-cultural team.
