Job Description
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in coordinating operations of the Company
- Ensure the safe receipt and storage of the inventory items in the Company’s Warehouse facilities as per the product’s requirement and Company guidelines
- Ensure all the Inventory and Sales records are appropriately maintained at all times and dispatched to Head Office on a daily basis
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as instructed by Warehouse Manager
- Monitoring inventory levels at all times and ensure re-ordering is done in a timely manner
- Communicating and coordinating with the Sales Team and ensuring orders are dispatched in a timely manner as per Company guidelines
- Responding to and dealing with customer queries if required by telephone, email and fax
- Communicating and coordinating with the Accounts/Finance team as and when required to update any records necessary
- Communicating with the Warehouse Manager any issues that come up in the Warehousing function and provide solutions to resolve the issues
- Ensure the work environment is safe, clean and secure at all times
- Oversee the planned maintenance of the Company’s vehicles, machinery and equipment’s
- Other duties considered reasonable in line with the position and in the normal course of business
Job Specification
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience in a reputed company
- Experience in handling dairy products and familiarity with cold storage operations will be given preference
- Preference will be given to candidates with good computing and systems knowledge
- Must be energetic, resourceful, willing to learn and participate in company affairs, and be a strong team player
- Should have good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be proficient in the use of English and Nepali language – both spoken and written
- Should have a valid driver’s license and be able to ride a motorcycle
