Job Description
- Meeting the group on arrival and making introductions.
- Relate to and easily communicate with a wide range of people and personalities and answering questions and advising on interest points.
- Provide customers with a level of customer service that exceeds their expectations.
- Organising, supervising, informing, assisting, motivating and directing customers as requested or required.
- Responding to emergencies by providing first aid assistance and taking appropriate further action if required.
- Carry out all guide duties and staff requirements to the expectations of the company as detailed in the guide manuals and staff handbook.
- Approach each working day in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
- Ensure and advise on the safety of your customers and ensure that activities are always conducted in a manner to minimise risk to your group colleagues and yourself
- Work successfully within a close-knit team.
Job Specification
- Must be physically fit and able to enjoy tramping on back country tracks.
- Must have a current first aid certificate.
- More than 8 years’ experience.
- Ability to speak a second language would be preferable (especially Chinese,Japanese, Korean and German).
- Must be Nepali citizen.
- Under 35.
- Trekking Guide Licence holder.
- Vehicle Licence holder.
- Very knowledgeable and provide valuable information to people.
