Job Description

The Technical Associate, Literacy Field (LPAT) in consultation/guidance with Technical Officer, Literacy Field (LPOT) is responsible for serving as the technical person in the field on literacy skills and the habit of reading.

This position involves frequent travel to project sites as well as regular interaction with RtR’s Literacy Facilitators (LFs) and partners.

S/he also requires strong communication and coordination with the Senior Operations Associate, Literacy Field (Sr. LPOA) based in Palpa who is responsible for managing the implementation of the literacy program for a set of schools.

This position will require about 30 percent of time for administrative works and coordination for Literacy Program (LP) and 70% field visits.
Job Specification
- Good knowledge and understanding of primary education curriculum, teaching methodologies, teaching techniques and various approaches to manage multi-learning ability, multi-grade, multi-lingual and multi-community children in primary grades.
