Position: Senior Technical Supervisor (Hot Job)

Job Description

• To manage/ oversee activities relating to reactive/remedial work ensuring that these are prioritised to meet business delivery and customer expectations either by utilisation of internal or external resources.
• To manage, monitor and oversee (and where required) the completion of risk assessments prior to undertaking works, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and undertake works per instructions within any relevant permit or work plan.
• Work with and support the Projects / Construction team in identifying, scoping and delivering minor capital works for NHS premises. To manage, plan and organise as number of complex activities and adapt within in changing and challenging work environment.

• To manage a team of specialists, ensuring they are adequately skilled and qualified to meet business needs. To ensure that regular training is undertaken to meet minimum competency levels required in the conduct of their roles and monitor performance against KPIs.

• Provide practical training to staff and contractors e.g. site inductions and emergency procedures.
