Job Description
  • Directing public relations, advertising, partnerships, interactive marketing and social media to create a cohesive and integrated platform to support hotel revenue goals.
  • Includes creations and oversight of promotions, packages, retention solutions to drive bookings and further develop the brand’s social media strategy, encompassing Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and emerging platforms.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts and collaborate with corporate digital team and agencies to ensure the development and execution of robust online marketing (inclusive of all relevant and emerging social media platforms, as well as CRM campaigns, continuous updating of jameshotels.com, online advertising, paid search, etc.)
  • Work directly with food and beverage teams on property to support revenue generation and drive covers. Lead the messaging and marketing positioning of the hotel’s restaurant and bar. Leverage outlets for offers to support position and drive revenue.
    • Manage public relations agencies and direct initiatives as they relate to The James Chicago and F&B. Act as brand ambassador during media familiarization trips and experiences on property.
    • Oversee the deployment and optimization of digital tools- specifically the in- room tablets and the James mobile app to support revenue goals.
    • Develop strategic local partnerships to align with the brand and drive business across multiple segments.
    • Work with corporate brand standards team and property team to ensure James brand standards are executed and adhered to properly onsite. Make suggestions to evolve standards as needed.
    • Maintain the execution and inventory of brand programs, such as kids, pets, and uniforms, on property, working with brand director and styling manager on updates as needed.
Job Specification

  • Knowledge and connections within local arts, culture, culinary, hospitality field.
