  • Responsible for the overall purchase and store function of the company which includes, but is not limited to identifying the requirement of goods, services and equipment, reviewing quotations, buying the best quality at the most competitive rates for day to day operation, storing the inventory and so on;

  • Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality;

  • Evaluate bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors;

  • Represent the Company in negotiating contracts with suppliers and formulating policies with suppliers;

  • Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery, processing payments and invoices and keeping up with market trends;

  • Take a leadership role in developing purchasing strategies and manages control in purchasing department budgets.

  • Strong knowledge in various areas of purchasing would be an added value

  • Well established negotiating skills

  • Organization and planning skills

  • Effective communication skills with vendors and all levels of employees

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
