Position: Project Developers/Fundraising (Hot Job)

Job Description

• To maintain established relationships with current supporters, and build  relationships with new supporters to encourage long­term commitment and giving 
• To provide ongoing support and encouragement to event organisers through  keeping in regular contact via telephone, letter, email and social media 
• To provide comprehensive research and data gathering for new fundraising  initiatives 
• To follow up fundraising approaches/enquiries via telephone, letter, email, and  social media where appropriate 
• To generate, process, and coordinate new fundraising approaches 
• To create a database of preferences and deadlines for charity applications 
• To identify and develop fundraising networks from both existing and new networks

Job Specification

•  A strong commitment to work within the charity sector and to ‘make a difference’ 
• Excellent planning and organisational skills 
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and be able to prioritise the workload to meet  deadlines 
• The ability and willingness to consistently make ‘asks’ and appeals on behalf of the  charity
