Job Description
- Being actively involved in meetings, such as marketing, Social Media and Finance, pro-actively contributing initiatives and progressing actions.
- Manage staff, budgets and staff training needs as well as maintaining statistical financial records.
- Develop E- tourism platforms, including websites, and construct business databases.
- Developing and carrying out a strategy to generate income.
- Works with an outside travel agency to make a travel arrangement.
- Handle all necessary arrangements needed when a company representative needs to travel.
- Promoting and marketing the business, sometimes to new markets.
- Selling travel products and tour packages.
- Taking part in familiarization visits to new destinations to gather information on issues and amenities of interest to consumer.
- Liaising with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage booking and schedule in advance.
- Sourcing products and destinations to meet consumer demands for bespoke travel and sustainable tourism.
- Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations.
- Constantly motivating the sales team to hit their targets and ensure company profitability.
- Meeting regularly with team leaders to give them sales figures and plan how they approach their work.
- Dealing with disciplinary matters and customer complaints.
Job Specification
- Strong leadership and time-management skills, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- Proficient with MS Office and MS Excel as well as other relevant software.
- Ability document procedures that are easily understood by others.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Encouraging a comfortable work environment as well as able to work in a team under pressure and deadline
- Ability to generate expense and other financial reports in excel.
- Fluency in English as well as Nepali and Hindi essential (Both oral and written).
