HERD International is seeking a Business development officer to be a member of the central team and to contribute to business development and research uptake functions in coordination with the business development unit.  

Job Purpose: 

• Finance Officer will be expected to work as a part of the Operations and Support Unit.
• S/he will be a key and responsible person for financial and accounting matters of the organization.
• Finance Officer will carry out all financial and accounting works complying with the existing standard legal, statutory and organizational requirement.
• S/he will report to the Operations and Support Unit Head / Operations Manager and serve as a member of the Operations & Support team.
• This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the financial policy and norms execution.
• Working with the Operations and support team, Programme management team and Research, communication and M&E team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, planning, and practices.
