Job Description
>
Qualitative study design and data management and analysis Qualitative dataset management and analysis, using coding systems and software, such as Nvivo or Atlasti where applicable.
Quantitative data processing descriptive analysis for nbsp;Suaahara II MER, primarily using Stata and focusing on program needs for data analysis. This includes analysis of both annual monitoring surveys and monthly monitoring datasets.
Support MER team to continue to buid skills of all team members in KTM and SII districts to understand data analysis findings and implications for programming.
Verify and ensure quality of exist* new data and refine and update data collection methods to improve quality, Men necessary and possible. Conduct and support Suaahara II MER-related trainings including those planned and facilitated by consortium partners, district teams, local PNGOs. and MER collaborators.
Create maps using MERdata and other programinputs, based on SII needs, using GIS or similar programs.
Job Specification

Master's degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Public Health/Nutrition and/or related field.
As least 5 years of experience working on monitoring evaluation, and research activities in complex, multi-sectoral nutrition programs (e g. agriculture-nutrition). Prior experience with qualitative statistical analysis software.
Trained and sound professional experience in qualitative content analysis, including extensive experience using qualitative software packages such as NVivo and Atlas.
Experience with quantitative descriptive analysis;
Experience in transcription, translation, and qualitative coding, preferably working with a team of coders;
Excellent analytical and interpretation skills for data results, with ability to write clearly and concisely it various formats in both English and Nepali.
Experience in designing tools, coding and analyzing data forqualitative studies, particularly related to agriculture, health and nutrition for the 1000-day period and adolescence.
S he must be able to respond quickly to requests for information.
Willing to travel throughout Nepal including to rural settings
