The Leprosy Mission has been working in Nepal for almost 60 years. In 2005 management was handed over to the newly registered Leprosy Mission, Nepal, a Nepali NGO with its own Country Director and Board. The continuing work is covered by a 5 yearly agreement with the Government of Nepal.
