Job Overview: 

Responsible for creating a communication strategy for advertising campaigns. This includes targeting the right audience, as well as setting the tone and message of the campaign. Also writing a formal brief and providing the ideal environment for creative development. Through market data, research and knowledge within the brief an account planner must ensure the creative team develops innovative ideas that will reach consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the client in understanding the brand, to develop Ideas/strategies and pinpoint business problems
  • Analyzing and interpreting a variety of information
  • Commissioning external qualitative and quantitative research
  • Keeping up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes
  • Undertaking qualitative research activities
  • Making presentations to clients and agency staff
  • Evaluating campaign effectiveness
  • Reconcile the differences between a consumer’s current perception of the brand and the way the client wishes the brand to be perceived
  • Analyzing sales data
