Job Description

We are seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Australian Culture & Experience Instructor to design and deliver interactive sessions that introduce international students or participants to Australia’s unique culture, history, social norms, and way of life. The ideal candidate will bring local insights, strong communication skills, and a passion for cultural education.

Develop and deliver lessons on Australian history, Indigenous culture, social customs, geography, slang, and lifestyle
Organize and lead cultural excursions, local experiences, and community engagement activities
Create engaging multimedia and interactive teaching materials
Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that encourage cross-cultural exchange
Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse student backgrounds and learning styles
Serve as a cultural ambassador and point of contact for participants' cultural questions
Collaborate with program staff to align sessions with learning objectives
Monitor student engagement and provide feedback or support as needed

Job Specification

Bachelor's degree in Education, Cultural Studies, Australian History, or a related field
Deep understanding of Australian culture, history, and society
Experience teaching or presenting to diverse, multicultural groups
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lead group activities and excursions confidently and safely
