Position: Sr. Logistic Manager (Recent Job)

Job Description

• Arranging appropriate packing, taking into account the climate, terrain, weight, cost and nature of goods and also the delivery and warehousing of goods at their final destination
• Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs with various courier and cargo company
• Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations and fiscal regimes
• Identify freight savings opportunities, time-saving opportunities, implement process changes and measure and report results
• Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking into account the perishable or hazardous nature of goods, cost, transit time and security
• Maintain strong relationships with logistic partners
• Work closely with Logistic Manager and Packaging and Handling team
• The working environment can be stressful, as much of the work is aimed at meeting tight delivery deadlines

  Other Specification

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in any field 
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Courier and Cargo field 
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, night and holiday coverage to meet business.
  • Proactive, positive, and professional approach and demeanor to their work with the ability to work
  • Two-wheeler license.
  • Strong ability to dissect and speak analytical information
  • Strong decision making, influence, and communication skills
  • Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, and similar office tools
  • Perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented
