Job Description
- Nepal’s migration process (internal and external)
- of the GoN past and current policies impacting migration
- of the stakeholders directly involved in the migration process (public, private, international donors)
- Knowledge of legal issues linked to migration
- Knowledge of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) thematic
- Previous working experience with I/NGO and/or international donors in the migration sector
- Previous exposure with DoFE/FEPB/MOLESS
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in management or related field; Master’s degree is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in the migration sector. Work experience in ‘skills and employment’ programmes will be preferred
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving, conflict and ethical management skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills, especially with accounting software, spreadsheets and financial analysis
- Good written and oral communication and presentation skills in English and Nepali
