Job Description
  • MEAL Officer- KITAB (Knowledge Improvement Through Access of Books) has responsibility to support Field MEAL Specialist to ensure assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation of KITAB project are done with high quality.
  • The position is further designed to ensure the digital platform prepared for the project has been handled properly. The work includes coordination, networking and collaboration with the stakeholders to ensure all the M&E requirements are met.
Job Specification
  • Bachelors (Preferably Masters) degree in development studies, economics, public health, agriculture or in the fields suitable for development
  • At least 2-3 years proven record of monitoring, designing and leading surveys, carrying out basic data analysis (central tendency, cross tabulations) especially for indicators relating to education. Cross-functional management experience in an I/NGO, UN/ bilateral organizational environment is preferred. Should have knowledge of development and humanitarian industry.
  • Must have quality report writing and data management skills. Should be able to demonstrate collaboration & team building skills.
  • Should have effective relationship management skills; ability to influence without having authority. Must be fluent in Nepali, with good written and spoken English.
  • Travel to WVIN working areas Sunsari and Morang as per need base is required.
