Job Description
  • Responsible for the delivery and evolution of the marketing strategy and work with the Team Leader to implement further developments when necessary
  • Promote the brand, policies and core values
  • Actively identify marketing and promotion opportunities
  • Manage all aspects of production, receipt, and distribution of marketing material
  • Coordinate market research to identify interest and uptake for current and future schemes
  • Deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget and within agreed sustainability criteria
  • Work with the Publications and Policy Officer to achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage
  • Evaluate competitor data to implement marketing plan alterations as needed
  • Develop a network of appropriate contacts within the media
  • To drive growth in advertising sales in our publications and recruitment adverts on  Events, Online, etc.
  • Work with our graphic designer to develop promotional materials 
  • Analyze prospect customers as per product segment
  •  Answer all lead and customer questions accurately
  • Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team
  • Advice on appropriate purchase/product options
  • Plan and execute key activities in a designated area
  • Find out the reason for buying the competitor's product and formulate an action plan for conversion
  • Good communication skill and capable of building trusting relationships
  • Help organize business promotion with the marketing team
  • Achieve  assigned targets as per organization policy
    Other Specification
    • Educated to BBA degree level or with equivalent professional experience
    • Minimum of two years experience in either events management or marketing
    • Experience of developing and managing external partnerships in the delivery of projects
    • Demonstrable experience of running events from conception to competition
    • Appreciation of the nature of accountability, ethics, targets, and outcomes
    • Marketing or communications background degree and further relevant qualifications
    • Familiarity with using design databases
    • Experience in developing marketing strategies and identifying new areas of growth/income/ exposure.
