Job Description

• Ability to analyze existing code base, provide solution and development on new requirement specification with best practices
• Able to guide Junior/Mid-level engineers in the team
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases to frond-end frameworks
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices
• Collaborate with frontend and management teams through different phases of the project
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Job Specification

• Proven experience in web programming with top-notch programming skills 
• Proficiency in programming language/framework – Java/Spring
• Develop, and test new and/or modify existing web applications in technologies such as Java, J2EE, Spring framework
• Design and develop of software applications with JDK 1.8/1.7, Spring, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, ActiveMQ, Spring security, Spring MVC
• Function in a fast-paced Agile development environment and methodologies including Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development
• Utilize web services like REST/Micro Service, Web service which includes good understanding of handling SOAP Requests and Response, WADL, WSDL, JAX-RPC, JAX-WS and Web service authentication
• Utilize application frameworks such as Angular, Spring MVC and Presentation Services with good knowledge on MVC architecture
• Use Java/Spring design patterns including Factory, Model View Controller (MVC), Data Access Object
• (DAO), Business delegate and Strategy. Well versed in core java concepts like Collections, Multi-Threading, Serialization, Java Beans
• Familiar with all the technologies that comes in as for HTTP transfer protocol, RESTful architecture
• Use Object Oriented Analysis, Object Oriented Design and UML Modeling. Good knowledge in using Web service testing tools like SOAP UI
• Work with databases such as Oracle 12g, MS SQL Server Using PL/SQL to develop Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views for different data models
• Debug and isolate production incident by looking Java code and provide, as & when needed, code fixes to reduce the issue turnaround time
• Participate in code deployment, reviews and performed required validation on deployed code
• Able to write unit test with Junit and Mockito
• Create and enhance build system management and version control using GIT, Jenkins
• Work closely with onshore counterparts to understand business requirements and develop quality technical solutions that align with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization architectural standards
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good attitude and strong work ethics
