Job Description

• Deal with the challenges of the digital transformation in the country and promote the digital transformation process and provide competent support
• Act as the Service Point of Contact (SPoC) for GIZ HQ for all digitization topics in the country
• Report IT security incidents and risks after consultation with the IT professionals
• Become the first point of contact for digital topics, information management, IT security and data protection in the country for all GIZ Nepal staff
• Maintain close contact to the IT Partners, Document Management responsible and the DIGITS division of GIZ HQ
• Maintain regular exchange within the network of other Digitization Partners (DIPA) as well as the Digital Pioneers network on information management topics
• Support colleagues in the respective offices by introducing the use of existing and new digital GIZ systems, such as Integrated Digital Applications (IDA) / Office365, Document Management System (DMS) etc.
• Advise colleagues on the regulations relating to Document Management system of GIZ
• Provide orientation and training to all the staff in the country for future digital solutions
• Understand the digitized and documented processes in the office and provide orientation where necessary
• Collect requirements for analogue processes that need to be digitized and express their recommendations on any necessary organizational adjustments to the various networks at GIZ HQ
• Advise GIZ partners, in coherence with the relevant departments at GIZ HQ, when using existing as well as developing special IT tools, for and with the partners
• Be contact person for the country office and projects for related topics in digitization (centralized information management systems, interaction of different systems, planned / upcoming IT projects with relevance for the country)
